Combining ukulele, expressive beat boxing and piano, the trio blends to create experimental pop music. They have been featured on Colorado Public Radio’s Open Air, Film on the Rocks, Colorado Public TV’s ‘Sounds on 29th’ and has won “Best Pop Band” for the 2018 Westword Music Awards and “Best Experimental” band for the 2016 Westword Music Awards. They have shared the stage with artists including Ezra Furman, Cocorosie, Emily Wells, and Advance Base. “The Milk Blossoms is a band whose amalgam of outsider pop, lo-fi R&B and vivid emotional recreations is always surprisingly deeply evocative….With songs that deftly and thoughtfully navigate the vagaries of ones own mind, illuminate nuanced perspectives on relationships with others and society in general and explore evolving concepts of identity. Maybe the music has come out of a rustic futurism imagined by introverts but it has a powerful resonance for anyone willing to open themselves up to a personal vision of life’s possibilities when you realize that vulnerability is a greater strength in life than toughness.” -Tom Murphy, Queen City Sounds

Harmony Rose – Ukulele, Vocals
