Erica England – He was downhill skateboarding

Couple’s Love Song: Savage garden truly madly deeply

So I met my fiancé about 9 years ago. He was downhill skateboarding, hitchhiking back up the mountain and I picked him up. He was cute, nice, funny, and asked for my number. When we got to the top, he looked me in the eyes and told me I was the most beautiful girl he’s ever seen and gave me a forehead kiss. I had just got out of a horrible relationship, so wasn’t ready for anything serious. We became really good “special” friends over the years. It took me a long time to be ready and I am so grateful he was patient with me and stuck around for so long making nonstop effort to sweep me off my feet. Then 4 years ago, he got all slicked up and waited outside my job with roses, took me to dinner, and told me he was gonna pick me up early the next morning. The next morning he showed up with more roses – and breakfast, took me to where we met, and told me I was still the most beautiful girl he’s ever seen and gave me a real kiss. He asked me to be his girlfriend and go watch him race at Pikes Peak. At that moment, it hit me hard that I’ve had this amazing guy this whole time and needed to make him mine. Then New Years Eve, to bring in 2017, he gave me roses, cooked dinner and packed a picnic, drove me to our special spot to watch fireworks. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, giving me a forehead kiss as the fireworks started. I can not wait to become Mrs. Backbreaker. (Nickname as he broke his back in 2009)
